Hi, I'm Jodi. I’m a Bristol based jewellery maker, crafting pieces from my workspace at Silver and Steel in Bedminster.

I work predominantly with recycled silver, using a range of traditional casting methods like sand-casting and the lost wax technique, to achieve unique textures in my work. I love collecting small tactile objects when I am out and about; from nuts + bolts to sea glass and pieces of animal bone, a lot are incorporated into my designs.  

My time throughout the year is split between silversmithing in Bristol, and my other job in set design, where I get to work and live on some pretty stunning festival sites around England and Wales. The continuous change in location is how I stay inspired to create, and it is in these places that I am able to find the most interesting objects for casting.

I think there is beauty in imperfection, and the handmade nature of my work means that no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
